Join us as we cook up recipes with the mighty protein packed soybean! Make miso soup and inarizushi (savory fried tofu pocket stuffed with rice and veggies). Take the chopstick challenge and see how many edamame you can pick against the clock. This class is soy delicious! Taught by Wa-Shokuiku.

Join instructors from the Mass Capoeira Culture Center to learn about this cultural practice and martial art, watch a demonstration, and even try out a capoeira game yourself! Ideal for ages 6+. Capacity in the program room is limited due to room safety requirements, so tickets can be picked up on a first come, first served basis at the children’s desk starting at 4:30 PM on the day of the event.

Aftab Dance Group, an Iranian dance group made up of students and young professionals, has been entertaining audiences in the Greater Boston and New England area with their unique blend of traditional and modern Iranian dance for over 15 years. Join them at the Library for a special performance followed by a Q&A session about Persian dance. Afterward, stick around for a fun and interactive dance workshop suitable for all skill levels. The performance and workshop are open to adults and kids of all ages. Everyone is invited to experience the beauty of Persian dance with Aftab Dance Group!
