Join the Friends of the Brookline Library!
The Friends of the Brookline Library are excited to announce multiple volunteer opportunities. Are you interested in volunteering to support the Library and the community? This is a great way to get involved!
The Friends are seeking new voices to join their board. The Friends board works to provide support and resources for the Public Library of Brookline and its patrons, including funding programs and initiatives for all ages. The board meets the fourth Monday of the month, September through June.
The Friends are also seeking a dedicated book sale coordinator. The book sale is the Friends' main source of fundraising to support Library projects. The coordinator will be supported by a team of existing book sale volunteers, and the retiring coordinator will be available to provide training.

In-Person Children's Programs
In-person programs are back! Beginning today, we are holding in-person children's programs at all three Library locations, including storytimes, LEGO Club, and craft activities. We will also continue offering virtual programs for adults and kids of all ages.
Everyone age 2 and older must wear a mask covering their mouth and nose when visiting the library, including during in-person programs. Social distancing and capacity limits will also be in place at all on-site events. We are delighted to welcome children and families back for storytimes and activities!
Due to limited capacity, you MUST have a ticket in order to attend storytime at all locations. We will begin handing out tickets at 10 AM the day of the program, so be sure to arrive early! At the Brookline Village and Coolidge Corner Libraries, tickets will be available at the Children's Room Desks. At the Putterham Library, tickets will be available at the main desk. We are not able to take reservations or save spots at this time.
