An Owl Encounter with Mass Audubon

WEDNESDAY, October 25 at 7 PM

Join us for an enchanting Owl Encounter program in partnership with Mass Audubon! Delve into the mysterious world of owls as you get up close and personal with these magnificent birds of the night. This program is for adults and kids ages five years old and up.

Introduction to Tarot Workshop

Coolidge Corner Library

THURSDAY, October 26 at 6:30 PM

Join tarot teacher Laura Campagna for a fun and introspective workshop on learning how to read tarot! This workshop is open to tweens, teens, and adults. No experience necessary. Attendees are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen, and a tarot deck if possible. Extra decks will be available for sharing, while supplies last.

Queer Art Night with Alex Makes Art

Brookline Village Library

WEDNESDAY, October 18 at 6:30 PM

Join us for a cozy evening of crafting and queer community building at the Library. Alex Makes Art has conjured up a collection of creepy cute bits and bobs to shock and surprise our crafters! It will be a night of collage, creation, and collaboration as we make our very own faux monsterdermy plaques.

We’ll have additional festive stations to invoke your creative spark, plus book displays featuring crafting and queer stories. Costumes encouraged in our safe and inclusive environment! This event is drop-in and open to all adults, no registration required.

Meet the Brookline Pollinator Pathway

Brookline Village Library

TUESDAY, October 24 at 7 PM

Would you like to learn about ways to support local pollinators like bees, birds, and butterflies? Meet the Brookline Pollinator Pathway, a collaboration between Mothers Out Front, the Brookline Garden Club, Brookline teachers, and community members that is working to provide habitat for pollinator species around town.

At this program, members of the Brookline Pollinator Pathway will speak about their work, the importance of native plants, and how we can help pollinators. Then everyone will have a chance to get planting with a take-home activity to grow native plants.

Make edible art! Come decorate (and eat!) a Halloween cookie. We will have cookies, frosting, and sprinkles provided by Party Favors in Brookline. For tweens and teens in grades 5-12 only. No registration required. As supplies last.

Spooky Bones & Creepy Crawlies

FRIDAY, October 20 at 3 PM

Get spooky AND educational with Professor Bugman’s Spooky Bones and Creepy Crawlies program! Young ghouls can explore real skeletons, both familiar and bizarre, as they learn about anatomy and the creepiest of our arthropod crawlies… This program is for tweens and teens in grades 5-12 only. Limit to the first 25 participants.
