Angora Wool Spinning

Join Lindsay and her furry friends from Winterberry Homestead for a night of Angora wool spinning! Participants will brush and feed adorable angora rabbits, learn how to spin angora fiber on drop spindles, and take home spindles and fiber to keep on spinning. This program is open to all ages. Limited to 30 participants. No registration required.

The History of Nintendo brings a walkable, playable museum to the Brookline Village Library! Players will be able to learn about how Nintendo started and see how the iconic console evolved to where it is today. All Nintendo systems from NES to Switch are available to play throughout the exhibit on old-school CRT TVs. This program is for children ages 8 and up and their families.

In celebration of National Native American Heritage Month, enrolled Cherokee member, Traci Sorell, will read her book, Contenders, about the first two Native Americans to appear in the World Series! The Library will be running this as a hybrid program. You can join the Zoom link at home by registering below, or you can attend in person at the Brookline Village Library. Patrons attending in person will join the Zoom as a group for the author talk and afterwards will enjoy making a baseball-themed craft together! This program is intended for kids ages 5-13 and their families.
