This program is open to tweens and teens in grades 5-12 (ages 10-18) only. No registration required.

Are you a fan of novels in verse? Our Salamanders book club is a novel in verse book club for kids grades 3-5. This group meets for 45 minutes every other Tuesday from 3:15-4 PM in the Rabbit Hole.

Reading is more fun when you’re reading to a dog! Our specially trained therapy dogs are accompanied by their human handlers, and will sit quietly while you read aloud to them. Bring a favorite book, and relax while you read to a friendly, furry, four-legged friend! For kids grades K-4. Sessions are 15 minutes and registration is required.

Join special performer Matt Heaton for an interactive singalong! This program is for families and kids of all ages, but may be most appealing to kids ages 0-5. This will be a thirty minute concert. Free tickets are required and will be available at the Children’s Desk a half hour before the program begins. We can’t wait to sing along with you!

Join us for a family friendly, intergenerational workshop on watercolor hosted by local artist, Laurel Greenfield. This workshop is for ages 5 and up and perfect for all artists, beginner to expert, kids, tween, teens, and adults.

Join the Coolidge Corner Library in celebrating Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse with a special performance. Gund Kwok Asian Women’s Lion and Dragon Dance Troupe returns to the Public Library of Brookline to perform for the community and explain the history of the Lion Dance and it’s significance for Lunar New Year.
