What is Ideaspace?
Ideaspace is a new project by the Public Library of Brookline, generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation, that’s designed to make Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) accessible and engaging to everyone in our community through classes, clubs, technology, and tools.
Why is this important?
Here at the Public Library of Brookline, we think that knowledge is bigger than what can fit in a book (and we really like books). Ideaspace programs and resources are all carefully chosen to complement our print and digital collections with opportunities to take that learning off the page and into the real-life projects, so you can make your own story.
Who is Ideaspace for?
Everyone! Ideaspace is a library-wide project, so the programs and technology we’re curating are intended to be both family-friendly and technologically robust. We want this space to be for all our makers, whether you’re a budding coder, an aspiring graphic designer, or a master scrapbooker.
What do you have?
