Animals of the Desert vs Rainforest with Joys of Nature (Session 1)
From a hot, dry desert to a wet, leafy rainforest, all animals have special adaptations to survive in their habitats. How do they find food and avoid predators? How do some species deal with lots of water, or very little water? Come find out as you meet some desert and rainforest animals up close, and learn about how their wild relatives survive.
We’ll offer two identical 30 minute sessions of this program! The first session is at 1 PM and the second session is at 3 PM. Both sessions will be held in Hunneman Hall and require a free ticket to attend. This program is recommended for kids ages 5-9 and their families. Children under age 5 must be accompanied by a caregiver in order to attend this program.

Hunneman Hall is located on the second floor of the Brookline Village Library. To access, use one of the main entrances, which are equipped with ramps and door openers, followed by the elevator in the atrium. This venue is equipped with assistive listening transmitters and devices, available upon request.
