Bullfrogs Graphic Novel Book Club (Spring Session)

Are you ready to read some ribbeting graphic novels? Our Bullfrogs book club is a graphic novel book club for kids grades 1-4. This group meets for 45 minutes twice a month on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 4:45 in the Rabbit Hole on the ground floor of the Brookline Village Library. Each meeting includes a discussion of the book and an activity. 

The session dates for this program are: April 4, April 18, May 2, May 16, and May 30

Books for meetings will be available for pickup at least two weeks in advance of each meeting at the Children’s Desk. When you pick up your book, you’ll receive a bookmark with prompts that you can fill out while you read to help you come to the meeting ready to discuss!

Our spring books are:

• April 4: Marshmallow and Jordan by Alina Chau
• April 28: I Survived the Attack of the Grizzlies, 1967 by Lauren Tarshis
• May 2: Timo the Adventurer by Jonathan Garnier
• May 16: TBD
• May 30: TBD

This program requires registration and has limited capacity. Please visit Eventbrite to register! If registration fills, there will be a waitlist. By registering on Eventbrite, you are registering for all 5 sessions.  This program will meet during April vacation week but there is no penalty for missing the vacation week session. Registration begins on Monday, March 13 at 6 PM

At this time, we ask that you only register your child for one book club so that more children have the chance to participate. 

Registering for this program indicates a commitment to attend the book club meetings. Please do not register for this program if your child will miss more than one meeting. If your child misses a second club meeting, their spot may be given to the next person on the waiting list. We understand that illness and emergencies occur – if an absence due to unforeseen circumstances is communicated to staff, it will not be considered a no-show.
