Bullfrogs: Graphic Novel Book Club
Are you ready to read some ribbeting graphic novels? Our Bullfrogs book club is a graphic novel book club for kids grades 1-4. This group meets for 45 minutes twice a month on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 4:45 in the Rabbit Hole on the ground floor of the Brookline Village Library. Each meeting includes a discussion of the book and an activity.
The session dates for this program are: January 10, January 24, February 7, February 21, and March 7
Books for meetings will be available for pickup at least two weeks in advance of each meeting at the Children’s Desk. When you pick up your book, you’ll receive a bookmark with prompts that you can fill out while you read to help you come to the meeting ready to discuss!
Our books are:
- January 10: Pea, Bee, & Jay: Stuck Together
- January 24: Peter and Ernesto: A Tale of Two Sloths
- February 7: Yo-Kai Watch
- February 21: TBD
- March 7: TBD
This program requires registration and has limited capacity. Please visit Eventbrite to register! If registration fills, there will be a waitlist. By registering on Eventbrite, you are registering for all 6 sessions. This program will meet during February vacation week but there is no penalty for missing the vacation week session. Registration begins on Monday, December 19 at 6 PM
At this time, we ask that you only register your child for one book club so that more children have the chance to participate. Our other book clubs are “Pollywogs: 1st and 2nd grade book club” and “Leapfrogs: 3rd and 4th grade book
Registering for this program indicates a commitment to attend the book club meetings. Please do not register for this program if your child will miss more than one meeting. If your child misses a second club meeting, their spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list. We understand that illness and emergencies occur – if an absence due to unforeseen circumstances is communicated to staff, it will not be considered a no-show.

The Brookline Village Rabbit Hole, home to the ideaSPACE, is located on the ground floor of the Brookline Village Library. To access, use one of the main entrances, which are equipped with ramps and door openers, followed by the elevator in the atrium.
