Let’s Make Kawaii Bento Together!

Bento boxes with animals crafted from different foods

There is a Japanese saying: “Me de taberu” – eat with your eyes! We are sure you will agree when you join Wa-Shokuiku to make your very own colorful Japanese Kawaii (Cute) Bento!

Learn how to shape rice into critters, tomatoes into hearts, mini hot dogs into octopi, and arrange them in a bento box that you get to take home! Discover how using five colors in your food choices will lead to a healthy and delicious meal.

This program is limited to 15 participants and has sold-out. You may join the waitlist at this link, in the event that a ticket becomes available. For children ages 8+ and their families.

This event is generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation.
