Celebrate Black History Month and learn about the lives and artistic styles of five Black children’s book illustrators! Paint, collage, stamp, and quilt in the styles of Jerry Pinkney, Oge Mora, Jerome and Jarret Pumphrey, and Faith Ringgold, all while learning about their illustrious work. This is a drop-in program where kids can make it to one or all four stations about each artist. You can check out their books after the program, too! This interactive arts program is geared for kids ages five to nine.
