Lily Pads: Family Book Club

Spend time reading with your family this summer! Our Lily Pads book club is for families with kids in first grade and older. The group will be three times over the course of the summer and read books that go along with our summer reading program, Find Your Voice. Register for this program on Eventbrite starting Wednesday, June 7 at 6 PM 

We’ll meet in the Tween Room at the Brookline Village Library at 6:30 PM. Meetings will last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on our level of conversation! Each meeting will include a discussion of the book and an activity. 

Books for meetings will be available for pick up at least three weeks in advance of each meeting at the Children’s Desk of the Brookline Village Library. When registering for this program, please indicate both the number of family members you expect to attend and the number of books you’d like for your family.

We encourage families to read together either as a read-aloud or listening to an audiobook together. ! A limited number of Audiobooks in a Book on CD format may be available for checkout. If you’d like an audiobook for your family, please indicate so when registering. Our titles are also all available as both ebooks and digital audiobooks. 

When registering on Eventbrite you are given the option to register for one or all of the sessions! So take a look at your family calendar before registering!

The Brookline Village Tween Room is located on the ground floor of the Brookline Village Library. To access, use one of the main entrances, which are equipped with ramps and door openers, followed by the elevator in the atrium.
