Mass Audubon’s Youth Climate Summit
This is a gathering of middle and high school aged students devoted to learning how to make a difference in the climate movement lead by Mass Audubon’s Youth Climate Leadership Program. The main goal behind this Summit is to provide a learning opportunity and a safe space for our program participants to collaborate with other passionate and driven youth leaders (middle and high school students) as well as engage in an in-depth discussion about environmental justice. This event will center around several interactive workshops on topics ranging from creativity, to social justice, to starting and improving climate initiatives in participants’ own communities and schools. We are also thinking of this Summit as an opportunity for our leaders to celebrate the power and importance of youth voices, build a community of youth activists, and find creative ways to make the climate conversation more accessible. Registration for the Summit will be on a first come first serve basis.
