Songs of the African Diaspora

Boston Singers’ Resource and Opera on Tap Boston present Songs of the African Diaspora, a lecture recital by Nina Evelyn Anderson. Nina will introduce the audience to music by a number of composers whose music has sadly fallen into obscurity, with the intention of encouraging more musicians to perform these beautiful songs! Several songs will be performed as a demonstration, and the audience will take away resources for further exploration of the repertoire.
