Storytelling From Your Life: The Craft of Sharing Memories

outline of speaker and audience

In this workshop, learn how to turn meaningful personal anecdotes into engaging stories! Bring your story ideas and, with guidance and inspiration from instructor Chandreyee Lahiri, start turning them into 5-minute stories for performance.

Chandreyee Lahiri is a regular story performer, fiction writer, and workshop presenter. She has appeared in Stories from the Stage, Suitcase Stories, and a Moth GrandSLAM, among others. She is the creator and producer of the storytelling series We Are Waltham, and co-curates a show called Voices for South Asian Immigrant Experiences. In 2020, she was one of the winners of the “Boston in 100 Words” contest, and in 2021, her story “Dumba Chora” was selected as the Boston Book Festival’s “One City One Story.” Visit her website to learn more.
