Virtual Onigiri Action Kit Cooking Class
Let’s make onigiri, Japanese rice balls!
Learn about and make onigiri, Japanese rice balls and make a difference with the Onigiri Action campaign. This annual event, organized by TABLE FOR TWO, is a social good campaign to address food insecurity.
Registration for kits is required! There are 30 Onigiri Action kits available for reservation. Each kit contains all of the ingredients and tools you and your family will need to make onigiri plus a few surprises to make the class more fun. We will have 10 kits to pick up at each of our library locations.

Kit reservations start Monday, November 29 at 6 PM. You will be able to reserve a kit, one kit per family, via our Eventbrite.

Pick up kits starting Saturday, December 4 at noon.
- If you have reserved a kit but have not picked it up (or confirmed you will pick it up) by Tuesday evening, we will give out kits to patrons on our waitlist on Wednesday morning if there are any kits available.

Zoom cooking class meets Thursday, December 9 at 5 PM.
This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome, and we encourage families to enjoy the program together.
