Whether you’re looking for a family fun night or weekend of gaming with your friends, the Brookline Village Library has a collection of board and card games sure to please. We feature popular games for adults like Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride, as well as family classics like Sorry and Chutes & Ladders. Board games may be borrowed for four weeks and may not be renewed or requested.

Planning a camping trip? The Brookline Village Library now has day packs, multiday packs, and a 4-person tent available for checkout for two week loans! Take a look or place a hold!

Do you have a party coming up that begs for a Darth Vader cake? Come to the Brookline Village Library and browse our extensive cake pan collection. We offer over 50 pans that may be checked out from the library for two weeks (just bring it back clean).

Rediscover your love of coloring with our circulating coloring book collection. You’re not only allowed, but encouraged to color in our books, now. We even have colored pencils available to borrow, as well. We have everything from the official Game of Thrones coloring book to mandala patterns, so stop by the Brookline Village Library to browse the collection.

Looking to explore one of Massachusetts 150 beautiful state parks?  Come to Brookline Village to pick up a Massachusetts DCR Park Pass that allows you free parking at DCR facilities.  You can read about the Massachusetts State Parks here and start planning your next adventure. These passes can be checked out for two weeks, reserved through our catalog, and picked up at the Reference desk.

Everything old is new again with our record player collection. We have a Record Player available for in-Library use! We also have headphones and records available for check out. Our reference staff will be happy to teach you how to use the players so you can discover the joy of vinyl.

We have telescopes available for four week loan periods at all three locations. Request one today. Telescopes must be picked up and returned to the owning location.
