Fandom Tuesdays meets every Tuesday each school year starting in middle September.
Are you unironically enthusiastic about stuff? Do you LOVE stuff, like, jump-up-and-down-in-your-chair-can’t-control-yourself LOVE it?* Join us for our Fandom Tuesdays.
Fandom Tuesdays meet in the Teen Room, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. No need to sign up, just drop in one Tuesday and introduce yourself.
We expanded the scope of our long running Manga and Anime club to embrace all kinds of fandoms, from books to TV to movies to comics — anything YOU are excited about. We’ll chat about all things fandom: fanfiction, fanart, favorite creators, and our inspirations. Sharing best episodes, playing games, and snacks are all part of the fun.
Please don’t hesitate to contact Fandom Tuesdays moderator Robin Brenner by phone at 617-730-2370 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. She’ll be happy to answer all questions about the club.
Frequently Asked Questions
What in this Fandom Tuesdays club all about?
Fandom Tuesdays is for Brookline’s teen patrons to gather and discuss any stories, media, or topic they’re excited about. Each meeting will include activities, discussion, and snacks – depending on the week, there may be themed food, a board game, or a fannish craft. The aim of the afternoon is to create a forum for teens to discuss increasingly popular fandoms as well as encourage critical thinking about what we love, why we love it, and how fans show their enthusiasm creatively.
Who are Fandom Tuesday’s members?
Fandom Tuesdays is open to teens in 7th to 12th grade. Teen Librarian Robin Brenner hosts each meeting in the Teen Room.
