Girls Who Code Club

Looking to sign up now for the 2023-2024 session?

Please note: our Girls Who Code club for grades 3-5 is now completely full!

The grade 6-12 club is starting a new session to learn Python, and so we’re inviting any interested coders to join us starting in January 2024.

We have two Girls Who Code clubs this year.

You can register for our teen coders club, for those in grades 6-12, at Eventbrite here.

When does the Girls Who Code club meet?

In 2023-2024, the both clubs meet on Mondays at 6:30 PM. Our clubs usually meet weekly, excluding holidays and vacation weeks. Our young coders club will meet in the Tween Room, while our Teen coders club will meet in the Teen Room.

We do not currently meet during the summer months.

Who is Girls Who Code for?

Girls Who Code clubs programs are designed for female participants, regardless of gender assignment at birth or legal recognition, we encourage our Clubs to welcome any member who wishes to join the Girls Who Code mission irrespective of gender identity.  Girls Who Code takes a gender-specific approach to our programming. This means that our programming is one that keeps the focus on girls, and considers the biases that might impact their experience. We deliver this by providing girls with safe, girls-focused spaces, and centering curricula on women in tech so that girls can imagine themselves in computing roles. Any member–regardless of gender identity–who wishes to support our mission is encouraged to join the Sisterhood!  Please read their complete FAQ answer here.

When will the Girls Who Code club start?

Meeting information to join our club meetings is also always listed on our events calendar once the club starts meeting.
